M&A Consultant / Senior Consultant - Supply Chain & Operations Value Creation

We are looking for a Consultant / Senior Consultant to join our Operations team to support Transact-to-Transform engagements across a broad range of industries. In this role, you will primarily focus on defining the approach, shaping solutions, and guiding execution. You will help clients understand required changes across their operations landscape, business processes, and operating models, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.

The opportunity

Our Operations team is one of the largest M&A advisory groups, focusing on transformation advice for private and public clients. Our deep operational expertise, sector knowledge, and global network of local market experts enable us to add real value to our clients' transactions and transformation initiatives.

Your key responsibilities

• Support end-to-end operations workstreams across strategic transformations and M&A transactions, including due diligence, value creation, integration, separation, and restructuring initiatives
• Assess operational performance, identify risks and value creation opportunities, and analyze operational and financial metrics, including KPIs, cost structures, productivity, and working capital
• Evaluate business functions such as Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, IT, Operations, and Corporate Functions to identify operational synergies, cost reduction opportunities, and performance improvements
• Support the development of business cases, financial models, and value creation initiatives to inform transaction and transformation decisions
• Coordinate project workstreams and manage relationships with client stakeholders, including senior management and C-level executives
• Develop high-quality client deliverables, including executive presentations, findings reports, business cases, and steering materials
• Translate business needs into practical operational improvement and transformation initiatives
• Leverage AI tools and innovative approaches to enhance analysis, delivery efficiency, and identification of improvement opportunities

To qualify for the role, you must have

• 3-6 years of professional experience in operational consulting, transaction advisory, due diligence, value creation, restructuring, transformation, or performance improvement projects
• Good understanding of operational value drivers, such as cost optimization, procurement effectiveness, supply chain performance, working capital improvement, operational productivity, and organizational efficiency
• Ability to assess business performance, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of practical recommendations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience in financial modelling, advanced Excel, business case development, and financial analysis
• Experience using AI, automation, and digital tools to support analysis, insights generation, and day-to-day project delivery
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related discipline
• Ability to travel and work across EU (up to 20% annually)
• Excellent written and verbal command of English and an additional European language (French, Spanish, Italian, or German preferred)
• Occasional work outside normal business hours to work with international teams (e.g. United States)

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Preferred experience in M&A transactions (e.g., due diligence, synergy assessment, integration, separation, restructuring, or value creation)
• Experience in one or more operational areas such as: Supply Chain / Procurement / Manufacturing / Industrial Operations / Operational Excellence / Continuous Improvement or SG&A optimization
• Experience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers
• Hands-on experience working in an international environment
