Location: Katowice - 2 days office / 3 days remote

The opportunity
As a Lead Business analyst, you will work as a team lead in one of the projects for International Customer. You will be responsible for managing and delivering innovative solutions to the clients from Wealth & Asset Management sector, focusing on European market.
Your key responsibilities
Work as a Business Continuity Lead analyst to contribute in various streams of implementation in Wealth and Asset management projects:
- Lead business analysis efforts using Primedex and related systems to support Wealth and Asset Management projects.
- Conduct AS IS analysis using UBIX to understand current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Provide hands-on expertise with legacy systems such as UBIX, GMI, or Clearvision (FIS / Sungard) with batch-oriented processing.
- Set up and manage Trade Life Cycle Mapping, including Corporate Actions, Expiry, Exercise/Assignments.
- Support Clearing & Settlement processes.
- Analyze and implement Margining Models such as SPAN and PRSMA.
- Manage Fees, Taxes, and Commissions processes.
- Work with products including ETD (Options & Futures) and Cleared OTC Derivatives.
- Collaborate with EUREX / EurexClearing and UBS Clearing Broker.
- Support Margining and Collateral management (cash and securities).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks including EMIR and MiFID.
- Provide UAT support to ensure quality delivery and client satisfaction.
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Wealth & Asset Management, with expertise in Primedex and related trade lifecycle systems.
- Proficient in AS IS analysis and hands-on experience with UBIX, GMI, or Clearvision legacy systems.
- Deep understanding of trade lifecycle processes including clearing, settlement, margining, and collateral management.
- Knowledge of margining models (SPAN, PRSMA) and regulatory requirements (EMIR, MiFID).
- Excellent client liaison, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively in a client-facing consulting role.
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify new business opportunities.
- Experience supporting UAT and ensuring successful project delivery.
To qualify for the role, you must have
The above skills and attributes required, as listed, and furthermore:
- Experience with financial and asset management regulations.
- Proven ability to manage and develop teams.
- German language – most possibly required for in-project communication.
- Strong academic background.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge of regulatory frameworks relevant to the role, including EMIR and MiFID, with the ability to translate regulatory requirements into business solutions.
- Prior experience in the Asset Management industry with a focus on operational processes and risk management related to financial instruments and alternative investments.
