The opportunity

 

We are seeking a hands-on and motivated Azure DevOps & Integration Engineer to support our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD processes, and enterprise integration solutions. This role is ideal for someone with strong foundational knowledge of Azure cloud services, DevOps practices, and integration technologies who is looking to grow in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to automate deployments, manage cloud resources, support application integrations, and ensure the reliability, security, and performance of enterprise platforms

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Manage source control repositories, branching strategies, and release processes.
  • Develop and support integrations using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, Service Bus, Event Grid, and API Management (APIM).
  • Monitor application and infrastructure performance using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
  • Implement DevSecOps practices, including security scanning, secret management, and compliance controls.
  • Troubleshoot deployment, integration, and production issues and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, security, and business teams to deliver reliable cloud solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operational runbooks, and support procedures.
  • Support cloud migration, modernization, and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, and reliability of Azure-hosted applications and integration services.
  • Participate in incident management, change management, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Implement and maintain API integrations with internal and external enterprise systems.
  • Optimize deployment processes, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency through automation.
  • Provide technical guidance and best practices for Azure, DevOps, and integration technologies.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps, including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, and CI/CD best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, and Azure Functions.
  • Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Experience with Git, YAML pipelines, scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python), and release automation.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across development, operations, security, and business teams.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2–4 years of experience in Azure Cloud, DevOps, and Integration technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in application and platform support, including incident resolution, service requests, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Boards), Git, CI/CD implementation, and release management processes.
  • Experience with Azure Integration Services, including Azure Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Event Grid.
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates, and experience managing Azure cloud resources.
  • Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills across cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, integration services, and application platforms.
  • Good stakeholder management and collaboration skills, with the ability to translate business and technical requirements into scalable solutions.
  • Understanding of cloud security, governance, DevSecOps practices, monitoring, and performance optimization in Azure environments.
  • Experience working in global delivery models and distributed teams.
  • Willingness to work in rotational shifts and provide on-call support during business-critical incidents, deployments, and releases.

 

Technologies and Tools

  • Experience with Azure DevOps including Repos, Pipelines, Boards, Artifacts, and release management.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure Integration Services such as Logic Apps, API Management (APIM), Service Bus, Azure Functions, and Event Grid.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, source control management (Git), and deployment automation.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM Templates.
  • Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights for monitoring and troubleshooting cloud applications and integrations.
  • Basic to intermediate scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash, or Python for automation and operational tasks.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Experience integrating enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM, ITSM platforms, and third-party APIs.
  • Familiarity with DevSecOps practices, security scanning, and compliance automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with GitHub Actions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, or containerized deployments.
  • Experience in industries such as retail, finance, telecommunications, or consumer goods.
  • Experience working with API integration, event-driven architectures, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, identity management, RBAC, Managed Identities, and Azure security best practices.
  • Experience in troubleshooting complex deployment, infrastructure, and integration issues in enterprise environment

 

Certifications such as:

  • Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
  • Microsoft Certified: Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204)
