Global Brand & Creative Team is key part of Brand, Marketing and Communications (BMC), responsible for architecting a global, distinctive EY brand; supporting teams across the business and across the world in delivering a consistent and impactful brand to market; developing key global cross-service line and cross-industry campaigns to support EY business objectives around technology and sustainability; and providing the brand guardrails and agency ecosystem to support it all.
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Naming Coordinator to support the Global Brand Identity and Protection Senior Manager in managing a research, review and approval process for EY product and solution names. This role is ideal for a candidate with strong research and analytical skills who is eager to gain valuable experience in intellectual property, brand management, product naming and project management. The Naming Coordinator will gain experience working with lawyers and senior EY leaders to manage a complex intellectual property portfolio. The role will focus on managing requests for product and solution names, collaborating with colleagues to refine those names, and coordinating with various BMC and legal teams to review and approve name candidates and document those approvals.

- Triaging and Assessing Naming Requests: Review and prioritize incoming requests for product and solution names for alignment with our brand principles, ensuring timely responses and effective communication with stakeholders.
- Name Refinement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine and finalize product names that align with brand strategy and market positioning.
- Coordination with BMC Teams: Work closely with other BMC colleagues to ensure alignment with existing service line, sector and Regional commercial offerings and reduce duplication of efforts.
- Research Management: Collaborate with a research colleague who is tasked with investigating commercial uses of name candidates. Assess intellectual property risks associated with each name.
- Ad Hoc Research Support: Support ad hoc research activities by conducting partly automated research, analyzing data from multiple sources, synthesizing findings and preparing concise summaries and recommendations.
- Presentation of Findings: Compile research findings and present recommendations to global brand leaders and lawyers in the global General Counsel's Office.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain organized records of name requests, research findings, decisions and final approved names.

- An ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects with competing deadlines
- A collaborative and curious mindset
- The ability to synthesize information and present it succinctly
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Strong decision-making skills and the ability to handle context-dependent matters independently
- Familiarity with AI tools, including the ability to create effective prompts, critically assess outputs and refine findings to mitigate inaccuracies or hallucinations
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in marketing, qualitative research, market analysis or a related field (internships included)
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage dozens of naming requests at once, each one in various stages of review
- Ability to balance competing stakeholder expectations and navigate sensitive situations
