The opportunity

The EY GDS Poland NextGen Talent Internship is a highly selective program designed for ambitious students and early-career professionals who are passionate about data, analytics and business intelligence.

As a Junior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will join a carefully selected cohort of high-potential talent and gain hands-on experience working with modern analytics platforms, cloud technologies and reporting solutions. Through structured learning, mentorship and practical project exposure, you will develop skills that enable organizations to transform data into meaningful business insights.

You will collaborate with experienced professionals and contribute to projects delivered for leading global organizations across multiple industries, helping clients make data-driven decisions and create measurable business value.

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for analytical and curious individuals who are passionate about data and technology. Successful candidates combine problem-solving abilities with strong communication skills and a desire to continuously learn and grow in an international environment.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Basic experience in Power BI. 
• Knowledge of T-SQL and/or Python.
• Understanding of data extraction, transformation and loading (ETL/ELT) processes.
• Understanding of relational database concepts and data modeling principles.
• Familiarity with Business Intelligence and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of data concepts such as Data Marts and Data Warehouses.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.
• Understanding of Agile delivery methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
• Interest in and willingness to develop AI and GenAI skills, including the use of modern digital tools to enhance productivity, problem-solving and business outcomes.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an open mindset and willingness to work effectively in diverse, cross-functional teams.

Ideally, you'll also have

• Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Power BI, Azure Data Factory, SSIS, Spark or Databricks.
• Experience in developing ETL processes or creating reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Exposure to data visualization and dashboard development.
• Participation in academic, personal or commercial analytics-related projects.
• German and/or French language skills.
