Your key responsibilities
- Support the development and implementation of compliance strategies for Financial Services clients concerning EU Sustainable Finance Regulations, including the EU Taxonomy, CSRD, and ECB Regulations.
- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' current practices against regulatory requirements, delivering actionable recommendations to enhance compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams to strengthen clients' sustainability reporting frameworks, ensuring alignment with EU regulations.
- Design and facilitate training sessions and workshops to educate clients on regulatory changes and their implications for business operations.
- Monitor and analyze emerging trends in EU sustainability regulations, keeping clients informed and prepared for future developments.

To qualify for the role, you should have
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, but are particularly interested in individuals that have the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in finance, economics, environmental sciences, or related fields.
- Proficient German language skills (B2-C1).
- Relevant expertise in EU and local regulations.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional experience, particularly in regulatory compliance or sustainability consulting.
- Specialized knowledge in ESG projects, including experience with sustainability assessments, reporting frameworks, and stakeholder engagement processes.
- In-depth understanding of Sustainable Finance regulatory requirements for Financial Services from the EU regulatory perspective (e.g., CSRD, EU Taxonomy, SFDR, ECB) and ESG reporting frameworks (e.g., ESRS, TCFD, TNFD, GRI, ISSB, SASB, UNPRI).
- Familiarity with industry standards and best practices related to sustainable finance and corporate sustainability.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and communication within the context of sustainability regulations.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools to support regulatory reporting and compliance assessments.
Language Requirement:
- German - B2 or C1 certified
