The opportunity
As an IT Transformation Risk Consultant in Digital Risk competency at EY GDS Poland, you will be part of a high-performing, international team supporting large-scale ERP, cloud and digital transformation programs.
You will act as an independent risk advisor embedded within transformation initiatives, ensuring that risk, governance, controls and resilience are designed into delivery from the outset (not only reviewed after go-live). You will work closely with program leadership, system integrators and client stakeholders to provide ongoing challenge, assurance and insight across the transformation lifecycle.
Your key responsibilities
As a Consultant, you will contribute to transformation risk and assurance engagements across complex technology programs. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing pre-implementation and post-implementation reviews covering governance, data migration, cutover, security architecture, access design, process controls and organizational readiness
- Supporting development and maintenance of transformation risk registers, issue logs, KRIs and steering committee reporting
- Assessing delivery methodologies (waterfall, Agile, SAFe, DevOps, SDLC) and evaluating control checkpoints and governance models
- Conducting ERP and platform risk reviews across SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday, cloud migrations and other large-scale systems
- Supporting ERP GRC activities, including segregation of duties (SoD), role design, automated controls and test of design / effectiveness
- Identifying transformation risks and providing independent challenge and recommendations to program leadership and stakeholders
- Contributing to the design of target-state IT risk management frameworks and operating models
- Collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, including IT, PMO, Finance and external partners, ensuring high-quality deliverables aligned with EY standards

To qualify for the role, you must have
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in technology risk, IT transformation, PMO or consulting
- A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related field
- English working proficiency (B2 and above)
- Working proficiency (B2 and above) in at least one additional language: French, German, Spanish, Dutch or Italian
Working experience in at least one of the following areas:
- IT transformation programs (ERP, cloud or platform implementations)
- PMO, program governance or implementation assurance
- Technology risk management or internal controls
Understanding at least one of the following domains:
- SAP S/4HANA, Oracle Cloud, Workday or similar ERP platforms
- Cloud transformations (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- Risk management, controls frameworks or transformation assurance
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge of risk frameworks such as ISO 31000, ISO 27005, NIST, COBIT, ITIL or enterprise risk management concepts
- Understanding of data migration risk, cutover planning, access/SoD risk and test strategy
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe or DevOps delivery environments
- Familiarity with KRIs, risk appetite models and executive-level reporting
- Experience working with system integrators or large transformation programs
- Exposure to ERP GRC tools or controls automation initiatives
Experience profile:
- Background in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, PMO, implementation assurance or in-house transformation office
- Past experience in at least one of the following industries: global manufacturing, banking, insurance, capital markets, retail, e-commerce, logistics, telecom, healthcare or pharma
- Experience in multi-country or multi-entity transformation programs is an advantage
Certifications:
- At least one of the following certifications: PMP, PRINCE2, , ISO 31000, ISO 27005
- Additional certifications such as Agile/Scrum (PSM, CSM), COBIT, ITIL will be an advantage
- Platform-specific certifications (SAP oracle, Azure, AWS, Google Cloud, OCI) will be an advantage
