Location: Wrocław / Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

We are looking for a Data & Insights Consultant who will be responsible for delivering high-quality reporting and analytical solutions that support business decision-making. This role combines reporting delivery, data engineering, visualization, and stakeholder collaboration. The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and relevance of outputs while driving continuous improvement in reporting practices.
As a team leader, the Consultant will manage a Data & Insights Delivery team and act as a key escalation point for technical and analytical challenges. The role also involves close collaboration with Business Partnering and Advanced Analytics teams to define and execute the reporting roadmap.
Your key responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of core reporting outputs, including BAU reports, compliance and legal reporting, strategic insights, and ad hoc analyses
- Ensure all deliverables meet established quality standards and deadlines
- Manage complex analytical requests and provide data-driven insights tailored to business needs
- Design, develop, and maintain dashboards to enable effective data sharing with stakeholders
- Translate data into actionable insights through data engineering and visualization
- Develop and implement advanced and predictive reporting solutions for senior stakeholders
- Monitor data quality, accuracy, and reporting performance, driving continuous improvements
- Lead and manage reporting portfolios, prioritizing based on business impact
- Collaborate closely with Data Engineers to ensure efficient data pipelines and data accessibility
- Configure and develop new reporting solutions aligned with business requirements
- Engage with stakeholders to gather feedback and enhance reporting outputs
Leadership & Team Management:
- Lead and develop the Data & Insights Delivery team, fostering a high-performance and collaborative culture
- Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback to team members
- Manage resource allocation and ensure effective utilization of team capacity
- Support team development through coaching, mentoring, and on-the-job learning
- Build strong relationships across teams and promote collaboration
Analytical & Decision-Making Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in reporting processes and optimize delivery standards
- Monitor performance against defined metrics (e.g., timeliness, efficiency, quality)
- Use data insights to support continuous improvement and operational excellence
- Share insights and recommendations with stakeholders to influence business decisions
Skills and attributes for success
- Strong experience in reporting and analytics delivery within a business or consulting environment
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Python, Power BI, and SQL
- Experience working with reporting platforms such as SAP, Oracle, SuccessFactors, or similar
- Strong understanding of data governance and reporting processes
- Proven ability to work in global, virtual teams across multiple locations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environments
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Education & Qualifications:
- University degree (preferably in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field)
- Advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Willingness to work across different time zones and occasional travel
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal)
