The opportunity
As a Project Manager within EY's Cybersecurity Practice, you will lead complex client engagements while playing a key role in coordination and successful delivery of Cybersecurity initiatives.
You will work with organizations across industries and geographies to deliver and implement cybersecurity projects, initiatives and technology solutions. At the same time, you will contribute to building a high-performing and cross-domain cybersecurity practice through capability development, people leadership, business development and market engagement.
EY’s Cybersecurity Practice functions as a center of excellence to assist our consulting practices in planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle initiatives along with providing expertise in leading practices, methods, and resources in the space of Technology Consulting.
Your key responsibilities
- Lead cybersecurity projects and programs,ensuring successful project (or service) delivery in demanded quality, time, and budget.
- Define and maintain project scope, delivery plans, milestones, budgets, resource plans and governance structures
- Manage delivery in a global, matrix organization where project sponsorship, client ownership, technical capability and delivery resources may be located in different countries and organizational units.
- Ensure a harmonized collaboration between EY and Client stakeholders spread across international locations.
providing transparency on delivery status, capacity, risks, financials and required decisions. - Develop long-term relationships with networks both EY-internally and externally with EY Clients.
Skills and attributes for success
- Technical understanding of security domains. Highly preferred cybersecurity experience in one of the areas: IAM (e.g. SSO, PAM, MFA), Cloud security, Risk / Compliance / Governance projects, Zero Trust programs
- Good planning and organizing, ability to see the big picture as well as focused on details and errorless delivery
- Excellent professional communication skills, ability to approach senior stakeholders using appropriate level of details, terminology, and fit-to-purpose communication
- Professional presentation skills and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in a continuously changing environment, proactive mindset with can-do-attitude, looking for solutions and opportunities
- Strong time management and attention to details.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- At least 2 years of project or program management experience, including experience independently managing complex technology or cybersecurity projects in an international environment
- Holistic and technical understanding of cybersecurity domains (highly preferred: Identity and Access Management, Cloud security, Risk / Compliance / Governance projects / Zero Trust programs / Vulnerability Management)
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (min. C1[PM2.1][ŁR2.2])
- AI proficiency to be able to boost team and personal productivity and at work
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience in Cyber Detection and Response or Cyber Threat Management domain nice to have
- Related Project Management Education (PMI, PRINCE) and Cybersecurity Certificates (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC)
- Security IAM products knowledge (SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID)
- Experience of working at consulting companies
- Additional European language skills (German, French, Spanish)
