The opportunity

We are looking for a Compliance Specialist to enhance our team, focusing on ensuring that our tools comply with internal and external regulations. This role is critical for maintaining the integrity of our IT solutions and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.

Your key responsibilities

Tool Compliance Review:

• Annual Review of SCOTT Products: You will be responsible for conducting thorough annual reviews of our SCOTT products, which currently total 655 active tools. This involves assessing each tool's compliance status and ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete.
• Engagement with Tool Owners: You will actively engage with tool owners to challenge and motivate them to complete their compliance documentation. This may involve setting deadlines, providing guidance, and following up on outstanding items.
• Consultation on Compliance Steps: You will provide expert advice to tool owners regarding any missing compliance steps. This includes explaining the importance of each step and how it contributes to overall compliance, as well as assisting them in navigating the compliance process.
  
  

Support for Local Regulatory Topics (Germany):

• Collaboration with Compliance Team: You will support the local compliance team in preparing for conducting audits related to various regulatory frameworks, such as TISAX (Trusted Information Security Assessment Exchange), CRA (Cyber Resilience Act), NIS (Network and Information Systems Directive), and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) criteria.
• Conducting Internal Reviews: You will run internal reviews to assess compliance with local regulations. This involves evaluating current practices, identifying gaps, and recommending improvements to ensure adherence to regulatory standards.

• Understanding the principles of IT audits, particularly how to prepare for them, is necessary for supporting audit processes and internal reviews

To qualify for the role, you must have

• You have a good English knowledge (written and oral).
• Excellent communications and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Experience in stakeholder management and coordinating projects or initiatives.
