Location: Katowice - 2 days in office / 3 days remote

The opportunity
The Assistant Manager position plays a key role in supporting operational functions within GDS Consulting Operations. The person in this role will be responsible for analytics, resource forecasting, and performing various operational tasks across the company. This is an excellent opportunity to learn how the operations department in a consulting business works and how it is organized.
Your key responsibilities
- Support the business in delivering operational, learning, and compliance KPIs
- Identify, recommend and drive process improvements and automations that add value for stakeholders
- Perform regular analysis of budgets, actual and forecasted results, productivity, and utilization, as well as ad hoc analyses to meet business needs
- Collaborate in the budgeting process by creating headcount development plans and utilization targets
- Act as a business advisor to consulting client-facing teams and leadership by providing timely reports, presentations, dashboards, and insights
- Liaise with other departments within the delivery center (HR, Recruitment, Finance, Experience Management, Procurement) to clarify exceptions, improve processes, and solve challenges
- Prepare reports and perform quality reviews of generated reports
- Ensure process documentation is completed and archived
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Minimum 6 years of working experience
- Very good English communication skills, both oral and written
- Proficient negotiation and conflict management skills
- Strong client service focus with a sense of urgency in resolving issues
- Flexibility in adapting to constantly changing priorities
- Outstanding teamwork and interpersonal skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Experience with Power BI
- Experience with Power Automate
- Proficiency in Polish
