The opportunity
We’re looking for a visionary Senior Manager/Director to lead our Pakistan-based MENA Tax delivery team. Aligned with FY26 priorities to reduce delivery costs and expand capabilities, this role will drive team build-out, strengthen regional relationships, and position Pakistan as a key delivery hub for GCC accounts. The role reports directly to the COO.
Your key responsibilities
The role involves leading the establishment and growth of a high-performing tax delivery team in Pakistan to support GCC client accounts. This includes designing and implementing a scalable and efficient operating model aligned with MENA Tax objectives, serving as the primary liaison for GCC stakeholders, and fostering strategic relationships to position Pakistan as a preferred delivery location. The individual will drive business development by identifying opportunities to transition workstreams from GCC to Pakistan, ensure operational excellence through best practices and KPIs, and lead change initiatives that promote innovation and collaboration. Regular reporting to the COO and Sub Service Line Leaders on progress, challenges, and strategic recommendations is also a key aspect of the role.
To qualify for the role
- Proven experience (minimum 10 years) in a leadership role within tax, professional services, or related delivery functions, preferably with exposure to the MENA region.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling offshore or shared services teams, with a focus on operational excellence and stakeholder management.
- Strong understanding of GCC business environment and tax regulatory frameworks is highly desirable.
- Excellent relationship-building skills with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving cross-border collaboration.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to design and implement new delivery and operating models.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Outstanding communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proven project management skills and a results-driven mindset.
- Fluency in English required; knowledge of Arabic or regional languages is an advantage.
