The opportunity
The Enterprise Architect defines the target state architecture for banking systems, ensuring alignment of business strategy, technology roadmap, and regulatory requirements. This role provides strategic leadership across platforms, integration, data, infrastructure, and security.
The role will be based in our Rapid Innovations which is the Center of Excellence in Pakistan and will support the client engagements across the MENA region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop enterprise wide architecture blueprints covering business, application, data, and technology layers.
- Lead architecture for core banking, payments, channels, risk, data management, and integration systems, aligned to multiportfolio enterprise environments.
- Define standards, patterns, and governance models for architecture across the bank.
- Support modernization programs: cloud migration, API modernization (including BIAN aligned service domains), and digital platform development—reflective of architecture aligned banking transformations.
- Conduct solution evaluations, technical assessments, and vendor/product comparisons.
- Work closely with CIO, CTO, Risk, Cybersecurity, and Data leaders to maintain architecture integrity.
- Ensure architecture compliance with regulatory and security frameworks.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 10–15 years of technology experience with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
- Strong understanding of banking domain processes and systems.
- Expertise in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), integration frameworks, enterprise data, and security architecture.
- Familiarity with TOGAF, SABSA, or similar frameworks.
