ABAP:

The opportunity

We are looking for an SAP Technical Consultant with expertise in ABAP development, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), Integration technologies, and SAP Fiori/UI5/RAP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom SAP solutions using ABAP (Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, CDS Views) to meet business requirements.
• Develop and deploy SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and create OData services for modern, user-friendly interfaces.
• Implement integration scenarios leveraging SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), and other middleware tools.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver robust solutions.
• Optimize performance and ensure compliance with SAP best practices, security standards, and coding guidelines.
• Support data migration activities, including LSMW, custom programs, and API-based integrations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring smooth operation of custom developments and integrations.
• Stay updated on emerging SAP technologies, including ABAP on HANA, Fiori/UI5 enhancements, and BTP services.
• Prepare technical documentation, conduct unit and integration testing, and support UAT.
• Advise clients on best practices for SAP technical architecture, integration strategies, and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Profile Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3–5+ years of professional experience in SAP technical development.
• Strong hands-on experience in ABAP programming (Reports, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, CDS Views).
• Experience in SAP Fiori/UI5 development and creation of OData services.
• Knowledge of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for extensions and integrations.
• Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI) and other middleware tools for system integration.
• Exposure to S/4HANA implementations and digital transformation projects.
• Proficiency in ABAP on HANA, performance tuning, and modern development practices.
• Strong understanding of integration scenarios, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
• Familiarity with SAP Activate methodology, Agile delivery, and DevOps concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in complex, multi-country environments and deliver under tight timelines.
