The opportunity

 

As an Assistant Director in the MENA Global Public Company Independence Procedures - Center of Excellence, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of our client acceptance processes. You will lead a dedicated team, overseeing the preparation of client acceptance files and ensuring that all necessary information is meticulously gathered. Your expertise will be essential in managing the Center of Excellence, where you will report directly to the Onshore MENA independence team.

In this position, you will be responsible for communicating, reviewing, and concluding on all independence evaluations related to client acceptance, working closely with the onshore independence team to uphold the highest standards of compliance and quality. This role not only offers you the chance to enhance your leadership skills but also allows you to contribute to a culture of ethical standards and professionalism within EY.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation of client acceptance files and ensure all necessary information is gathered.
  • Manage the Center of Excellence and report to Onshore MENA independence
  • Communicate, review, and conclude on all independence evaluations related to client acceptance.
  • Work closely with the onshore independence team to ensure compliance and quality.

Qualification and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Compliance, Risk, Accounting, Business, or equivalent.
