ABAP/ Integration Consultant – SAP (Pakistan)

The Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled ABAP/ Integration Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in SAP development, modern ABAP practices, and integration technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SAP solutions using ABAP, CDS, RAP, and SAP BTP extensibility while supporting integration scenarios across SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize ABAP solutions aligned with Clean Core principles and SAP best practices.
• Perform code quality checks, ATC validations, and performance tuning for scalable, efficient solutions.
• Design and build applications using CDS Views, RAP, and modern ABAP RESTful programming frameworks.
• Work with SAP BTP for custom development, Fiori app enhancements, and cloud extensibility.
• Design, build, test, and support integrations using SAP Integration Suite, including APIs and event-driven integrations.
• Develop custom objects including SmartForms, Adobe Forms, Workflows, OData services, and classical ABAP programs.
• Support SAP RISE environments and understand cloud-centric architecture components.
• Collaborate with functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Participate in testing cycles and provide ongoing support for implemented solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, ensuring compliance with development standards.

Key Profile Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Min 3–4 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong knowledge of ABAP, Fiori/UI5 development, Workflows, SmartForms, Adobe Forms, and screen programming.
• Practical working experience with:
◦ CDS Views & RAP (ABAP RESTful)
◦ BTP development & extensibility
◦ ATC checks & performance optimization
• Experience in integration technologies including PI/PO and SAP Integration Suite.
• Understanding of SAP RISE architecture and cloud‑first application design.
• Ability to work in Agile/Hybrid delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with attention to detail and code quality.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with distributed teams.
