The opportunity

EY DnA is the data and advanced analytics capability within EY Asia-Pacific, with over 500 specialist employees working across multiple industry sectors.

We implement information-driven strategies, data platforms and advanced data analytics solution systems that help grow, optimize and protect client organizations. We go beyond strategy and provide end to end design, build and implementation of real-life data environments and have some of the best architects, project managers, business analysts, data scientists, big data engineers, developers and consultants in the region.

We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP Developer with foundational experience in SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) and emerging SAP AI technologies such as SAP Joule, AI Core, and AI Launchpad. The ideal candidate is passionate about integrating AI capabilities into SAP solutions, building intelligent business processes, and working on cloud-based application development.

Your key responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain applications on SAP BTP, including CAP (Cloud Application Programming) and Fiori/UI5 applications.
• Experiment with and integrate SAP Joule conversational AI into SAP solutions to enhance user experiences.
• Work with SAP AI Core and AI Launchpad to manage, deploy, and monitor machine learning models and AI services.
• Collaborate with senior developers and solution architects to design and implement intelligent extensions for SAP S/4HANA or other SAP modules.
• Build and expose OData / REST APIs for integration with internal and external systems.
• Support testing, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of SAP cloud applications.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimally 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Experience working in consulting or client-facing environment
• Basic understanding of SAP BTP services such as Cloud Foundry, Kyma, or Integration Suite.
• Exposure to SAP Joule and conversational AI use cases within SAP ecosystem.
• Familiarity with AI Core (model training/deployment) and AI Launchpad (model management and monitoring).
• Experience or coursework in Python, JavaScript, or Node.js for backend and AI integration.
• Understanding of OData services, REST APIs, and SAP Fiori/UI5 development is an advantage.
• Curiosity and eagerness to learn about SAP’s AI strategy and next-gen intelligent technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4HANA extensions and event-driven architecture.
  
• Exposure to Machine Learning, TensorFlow, or OpenAI API integrations.
  
• Familiarity with SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) or DataSphere.
  
• Certification or training in SAP BTP Extension Developer or AI Foundation modules.
