Alliance Administrative Support Coordinator
Job Summary
The Alliance Administrative Support Coordinator provides operational and administrative support to EY Africa’s alliance agenda. The role supports alliance performance management by supporting revenue planning, tracking financial performance, producing pipeline reports, monitoring pipeline health, maintaining data quality, coordinating stakeholder inputs and supporting the planning and delivery of alliance-related industry events.
Reporting and key interfaces: The Coordinator will report to the Business Development Operations Lead and work closely with Alliance Leaders, Solution Leaders, Account Teams, Engagement Delivery Teams and the Business Development Team. The role also collaborates with relevant EY Global Teams, alliance partners and third parties to support coordinated alliance activation and reporting.
Role focus: To be effective, the coordinator must understand the technology portfolio, key revenue and solution objectives, alliance portfolio, priority partners, alliance-enabled offerings and the related account, revenue planning and pipeline processes. The role requires disciplined reporting, proactive pipeline management, strong stakeholder coordination and the ability to translate alliance data into clear insights that support revenue planning, better decision-making and market activation.
Essential Functions of the Job
- Technology performance tracking and reporting
- Track alliance financial performance against agreed targets, plans and reporting cycles.
- Support alliance revenue planning by consolidating revenue targets, forecast assumptions, pipeline inputs and account-level commitments.
- Maintain revenue planning trackers and support regular updates to revenue forecasts, gap-to-target analysis and delivery confidence views.
- Produce regular apipeline reports, including opportunity value, stage movement, ageing, conversion and risk indicators.
- Maintain reporting dashboards and source data to ensure alliance performance information is complete, accurate and current;
- Highlight variances, reporting issues and performance risks to Alliance Leaders, Solution Leaders and account teams;
- Support regular alliance performance reviews by preparing reporting packs, consolidating inputs and tracking agreed actions.
- Pipeline health and opportunity management
- Monitor alliance-related pipeline health across priority accounts, sectors and solutions;
- Follow up with account and pursuit teams to validate opportunity status, next steps, close dates and required support;
- Identify stale, lapsed or poorly qualified opportunities and escalate required clean-up or intervention actions;
- Support pipeline discipline by ensuring opportunities are captured consistently and aligned to alliance reporting requirements;
- Track win/loss outcomes and support feedback loops to improve alliance pipeline quality and conversion.
- Alliance coordination and stakeholder support
- Coordinate inputs from Alliance Leaders, Solution Leaders, account teams, pursuit teams and partner stakeholders;
- Maintain key alliance trackers, action logs, meeting notes and follow-up items to support disciplined execution;
- Support preparation for alliance governance, pipeline review and performance management discussions;
- Respond to stakeholder queries in a timely and professional manner, ensuring relevant updates are shared appropriately.
- Industry events and market activation support
- Support the planning and delivery of alliance-related industry events, roundtables, client sessions and partner activations;
- Coordinate event logistics, invitations, stakeholder inputs, collateral, briefing materials and post-event follow-up actions;
- Track event outcomes, attendance, leads generated and resulting pipeline actions;
- Maintain a calendar of alliance activations and support alignment across industry, account and solution priorities.
Knowledge and Skills Requirements
- Strong administrative coordination and project management capability, with the ability to manage multiple reporting cycles and stakeholder inputs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate pipeline and financial data into clear insights.
- Working knowledge of revenue planning, forecasting, target tracking and gap-to-target reporting.
- Above-average capability in reporting, data analysis, research and Microsoft tools, including Excel and PowerPoint.
- Understanding of pipeline management, opportunity tracking and data quality disciplines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear reports, packs and stakeholder updates.
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with alliance stakeholders, account teams, solution teams and partner contacts.
- Strong attention to detail and discipline in maintaining trackers, dashboards, pipeline reports and action logs.
- Experience supporting industry events, client sessions or market activation activities would be advantageous.
Job Requirements
Education:
- University degree or equivalent related qualification.
Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant work experience at a coordinator level;
- Experience in a large professional services organisation preferred.
