The Unified Support Services IT Assets Stock Controller Handles the IT assets management to support to customers within the country and the Johannesburg site by performing a Series of IT Hardware Assets Management (HAM) Tasks. This professional demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks, working with various IT assets, in a fast-paced & a client-Centric environment.

Your key responsibilities

  • Accurate IT assets Stock count
  • Preparing and Reporting on the IT consumable usage and Stock Availability
  • Timely closure of SNOW tickets (within SLA)
  • Inspecting the stockroom for cleanliness
  • Checking and responding to emails Timeously
  • Receiving new of stock
  • Creating of Transfer Orders (TO)
  • GRV of new stock on SNOW
  • Preparing new Employee Laptop packs according to The Standard Process
  • Assisting the concierge client Facing team with End User Request
  • Filing important documents of assets that are issued out to End users
  • Ensuring Assets descriptions are matched on SNOW before uploading devices
  • Labelling and scanning of assets in The Storeroom
  • General Admin Tasks
  • Escalate any Risks or Gaps Identified to management
  • This role is required to physically work in an EY office.

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is desirable.
  • To qualify for the role you must have
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent customer service attitude.
  • Ability to liaise and work effectively with all levels of end users and IT personnel.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisor and peers.
  • Approximately 2-4 years of experience in Hardware Assets Management
