The Inclusiveness and Ripples Coordinator plays a key role in enabling EY Africa’s Inclusiveness and Corporate Social Responsibility (Ripples) agenda. Operating within the Employee Experience team, this role provides hands-on project coordination and operational support to ensure initiatives are delivered consistently, professionally, and with impact across the employee lifecycle.

Working closely with the Inclusiveness and Ripples Manager, the wider Employee Experience and Africa Talent teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, the Coordinator helps bring EY’s commitment to belonging, equity, social impact, and sustainability to life. The role supports the planning, execution, governance, and reporting of programs that advance inclusive culture and meaningful community impact across the firm.

Key responsibilities

Programme and project coordination

  • Support the Inclusiveness and Ripples Manager with the day-to-day coordination and smooth delivery of Inclusiveness, CSR, and social impact initiatives.
  • Assist with end-to-end project execution, including maintaining project schedules, tracking progress, managing dependencies, and ensuring milestones, actions, and deadlines are met.
  • Maintain and update all programme governance trackers, including project plans, risk logs, budgets, and benefits tracking.

Stakeholder and meeting coordination

  • Coordinate project and steering meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, documenting outcomes, and distributing minutes.
  • Proactively follow up on actions with key stakeholders and task owners to support timely delivery.
  • Collaborate closely with internal enabling teams such as Brand, Marketing & Communications (BMC), Finance, Talent, and Risk to support programme execution.

Reporting, documentation, and insights

  • Create and maintain comprehensive and well-structured project documentation.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, reports, and briefing materials for leadership, steering committees, and working groups.
  • Support measurement and reporting of Inclusiveness and Ripples initiatives, ensuring accurate data and clear insights.

Operational and financial support

  • Support Bridges submissions and processes.
  • Manage Mercury procurement and vendor loading activities in line with EY policies and governance requirements.
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial coordination related to Inclusiveness and Ripples programmes.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Highly organised with structured thinking and strong attention to detail.
  • Effective interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and levels.
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving capability.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, adapt to change, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in project coordination, with a disciplined approach to planning and execution.
  • A values-driven mindset with a genuine interest in inclusiveness, social impact, and employee experience.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • 2–4 years of relevant work experience, preferably in project coordination, employee experience, HR, CSR, or related fields.
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, manage ambiguity, and respond effectively to evolving business needs.
  • Strong accountability and a collaborative approach as a team contributor.

What we are looking for

  • A high-performing, purpose-driven team player who thrives in a dynamic environment.
  • Someone who is confident and assertive, yet an attentive listener and effective consensus builder.
  • Strong time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Consistent demonstration of professionalism, integrity, and EY values.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work that supports inclusive culture and meaningful impact.

Working arrangements

  • Full-time role (40 hours per week) with a hybrid working model.
  • Saturday work will be required for Ripples, time off during the week will be agreed in advance with the Inclusiveness and Ripples Manager.
