HR Operations and Systems Specialist - Assistant Manager
Job description
Role Purpose:
Oversee and manage complex HR systems implementations and projects within Talent. Drive digital transformation to enable the firm to achieve its strategic priorities through the effective use of HR technology. Support multiple, complex HR platforms including the SAP SuccessFactors product suite, ServiceNow, and other internal Global systems. Collaborate and represent our Region HROSS team at a Global level.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead complex SAP SuccessFactors implementation projects, including planning, execution, and delivery.
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP SuccessFactors administrators.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients (Internal local clients), understanding their business needs and providing strategic HR technology solutions.
- Solution Design and Configuration: Design and configure SAP SuccessFactors solutions to meet client requirements, optimising processes and maximising system functionality.
- Data Migration and Integration: Oversee data migration from legacy systems to SAP SuccessFactors, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Change Management: Manage change initiatives, provide training to super-users and end-users, and provide ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities to optimise HR processes and leverage SAP SuccessFactors capabilities to drive efficiency and effectiveness.
- Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting: Resolve technical issues and provide solutions to complex problems.
- Stay up to date with the latest SAP SuccessFactors features, functionalities, and industry best practices.
- Coordinate and manage employee data, implement controls and deliver outputs between HR, onshore and offshore service delivery centres (IBM) and Payroll.
- Regularly review role-based permissions and complete regular system access audits of HR applications to ensure people have the appropriate level of access.
- Lead the annual graduate intake programme that runs throughout the month of December.
- Provide ongoing support around audit requirements.
- Provide day-to-day technical support and resolve queries.
- Analyse and perform data validation reviews to ensure accuracy of data.
- Provide reports for legal or regulatory requirements as required by various internal and external clients.
- Manage relationships with HR systems global teams and provide support to our region service delivery teams.
The role requires expertise in SAP SuccessFactors modules, including:
- Core HR: Manages employee data, organisational structures, and core HR processes.
- Recruiting: Oversees talent acquisition, applicant tracking, and onboarding.
- Performance Management: Manages performance reviews, goal setting, and feedback processes.
- Learning Management: Manages training programmes, course catalogues, and learning analytics.
- Succession Planning: Manages talent development, succession planning, and career paths.
- Compensation: Manages compensation planning, variable pay, and equity.
- Role-Based Permissions (RBP), SAP (Finance), ServiceNow HR (SNOW), DocuSign, SAGE/VIP, and SharePoint (Microsoft 365).
- Reporting (Workforce Analytics): Utilises data analytics to drive HR insights and decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 6 years of SAP SuccessFactors (or a similar off-premise HRIS platform), ServiceNow, Microsoft 365, various automation tools, supported by experience gained through a combination of implementation projects and post go-live support.
- Relevant functional experience for data extractions from source SAP systems to downstream systems.
- Relevant qualification, preferably a degree in HR/IT/Finance.
- Advanced Excel, including understanding complex formulas.
- Power BI and Microsoft packages.
