Graduate Recruitment Administrator
Job description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Graduate Recruitment Administrator to join our dynamic Graduate Recruitment team. The role is responsible for coordinating recruitment activities, maintaining accurate recruitment records, supporting hiring managers and recruiters, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the recruitment process for graduate positions, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring experience for both candidates and hiring managers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Candidate Management:
- Assist in the coordination and administration of the graduate recruitment process.
- Screen and shortlist graduate applications based on predefined criteria.
- Schedule and organize interviews, assessments, and other recruitment activities, including arranging meeting rooms, virtual meeting links, and travel arrangements where applicable.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates, ensuring they receive timely updates regarding their applications throughout the recruitment process.
- Administrative Support:
- Prepare and distribute recruitment-related documentation, including job descriptions, interview guides, and offer letters.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all recruitment activities in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Assist in the preparation of recruitment reports and analytics.
- Support recruiters with candidate onboarding activities, including coordinating background checks and pre-employment screening processes.
- Process payments for suppliers, bursary candidates, and other recruitment-related expenses where applicable.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Liaise with managers & recruiters to understand their graduate recruitment needs and timelines.
- Coordinate with universities and other educational institutions to promote graduate opportunities.
- Support the organization and execution of campus recruitment events, career fairs, and employer branding activities.
- Compliance and Best Practices:
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with relevant employment laws and company policies.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in graduate recruitment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Previous experience in recruitment or HR administration is preferred but not essential.
- Experience supporting high-volume recruitment processes would be advantageous.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HR software is an advantage.
