Analytics and Business Intelligence Engineer - Manager - Multiple Positions (1664773), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Jericho, NY.

 

Bring order and structure to structured and unstructured data and prepare analysed data in visual formats in a manner that is accessible to clients and other stakeholders to solve multiple and complex business problems utilizing cloud-scale advanced statistical techniques and Business Intelligence analyses. Lead big-data problem solving to collect, analyze, and present findings and solutions, leading junior team members, and working with a wide variety of clients to deliver technology consulting services. Serve as the go-to resource for understanding clients’ problems through data gathering and analysis. Solve complex analytical problems in an effort to bring data to insights and enable the use of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence at scale for clients. Lead delivery of unparalleled service in big data, business intelligence, and digital analytics built on a blend of custom-developed methods related to customer analytics, data visualization, and optimization. Drive efforts to design, architect, and develop solutions to ingest, process and analyze large, disparate data sets to exceed business requirements, leveraging in-house data platforms as needed and recommending and building new data platforms/solutions. Participate in business development and knowledge growth opportunities to strengthen aptitude to propose solutions that will better enable clients to navigate the complex world of modern data analytics.

 

Manage and motivate teams with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field and 4 years of work experience.

 

Must have 4 years of experience in quantitative modeling and analysis focusing on big-data problem solving to collect, analyze, and present findings and solutions.

 

Must have 4 years of hands-on experience in python and SQL.
     

Must have 3 years of experience in one or a combination of any of the following cloud platforms: 
o Azure
o Amazon
o Google
  

Must have 4 years of experience in navigating database models to build data sets for analytics and model training and development.

  

Must have 2 years of experience modelling data in Power BI and other PowerApps.

 

Must have 1 year of experience in the delivery of intelligent automation services and the technology life cycle, including operating model/strategy, opportunity assessment, discovery and requirements definition, solution architecture and design, development, testing and production release.

 

Must have 1 year of experience in quantitative analysis using Agile methodologies or robotics tool-specific methodologies.
  

Must have 3 years of experience with data manipulation tools and libraries SQL, Pandas, or Spark.
  

Must have 1 year of experience with containerization and scaling models as well as integrating models and feedback from downstream consumption systems.
  

Must have 1 year of experience directly managing technical teams.
     

Requires travel up to 80%, of which 10% may be international, to serve client needs.
