EY Strategy and Transactions helps client to work more efficiently and effectively, ensuring their long-term health by raising, preserving, investing and optimizing capital. As an EY transaction professional, you will be able to work with the world’s largest organizations, fastest-growing companies and private equity firms on some of the biggest and most complex cross-border engagements in the global market. You will help those clients to make a better and more informed decisions about how they strategically manage capital and transactions in a changing world. The opportunity

Our Valuation, Modelling and Economics (VME) professionals play an integral role in helping clients effectively executive their transactions. As a valuation professional at EY, you will help global organizations make strategic decisions by providing responsive, objective advice on valuing businesses, shares and assets. As a business modelling professional, you will carry out model review, model support and model build services to assist clients with their strategic decisions. Clients will see you as a vital part of their team. Your key responsibilities:

• You will be a core member of the Valuation, Modelling an Economics (VME) team advising on business plans, transactions, decision support, optimization and review of all types of business for a diverse range of clients.
• You will advise on the evaluation of all types of businesses, projects and securities, intangible assets and financial instruments. 
• This could be for financial/tax reporting, mergers & acquisitions, advisory for capital transformation, investment and business growth plans.  You will manage and deliver projects and teams of people and work within a diverse and highly professional group of valuation and business modelling specialists.

To qualify for the role you must have:

• A bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related major.
• Ability to do valuation methods
• Has 5-7+ years working experience in financial modelling.
• Proven track record excelling in financial / business modelling as a core strength
• Strong understanding of concepts of accounting, finance theory and analysis, risk and return, 
• Experience in preparing capital budgeting and financial strategies is a plus
• Having CFA or any professional designation is a plus
• Strong leadership with good intrapersonal skill. 
• Excellent communication skills both in English and Indonesian
• Strong logical reasoning and analysis skills
• Project finance / PPA or impairment testing experience
• Prior consulting / professional services experience
• Relevant sector transaction experience
