The opportunity
EY Financial Services is a unique, industry-focused business unit that provides a broad range of integrated services that leverage deep industry experience with strong functional capability and product knowledge. The Technology Consulting practice works with clients to analyze, formulate, design, mobilize and drive strategic transformation initiatives. We advise clients on their most pressing strategic challenges and opportunities surrounding business strategy, customer, growth, profit optimization, innovation, technology strategy, and digital transformation. We also have a unique ability to help our clients translate strategy into actionable technical design, and transformation planning/mobilization. Through our unique combination of competencies and solutions, EY’s Financial Services Technology Consulting team helps our clients sustain competitive advantage and profitability by developing strategies to stay ahead of the rapid pace of change and disruption and supporting the execution of complex transformations.
Technology Change Delivery Overview
Technology Change Delivery (TCD) is part of EY’s Global Technology Consulting competency, providing technology and agile transformation management services to clients with speed. TCD is comprised of 3 main competencies:
1) Agile Transformation: Agile Transformation provides customer-centric Agile transformation services by supporting leaders with designing, planning and executing their value delivery needs
2) Transformation Management (TMO): TMO helps clients to structure and govern transformation programs to achieve desired outcomes and provide business value
3) Project Management as a Service (PMaaS): PMaaS supports change delivery with experienced practitioners serving as Project Managers and Scrum Masters
Your Key Responsibilities
Support projects for Technology Change Delivery, either on a standalone workstream or for multiple elements within a client engagement. You help deliver high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget. Assist in monitoring progress, identify and escalate risks/issues and confirm that key stakeholders are kept informed on progress and outcomes. Build client relationships, foster an innovative culture and mentor junior consultants, while actively participating in our sales program and supporting practice development activities.
Skills and attributes for success
- Domain experience in Banking & Capital Markets, Insurance, and/or Wealth and Asset Management
- Strong technology project management background with experience in enterprise change and technology management, data, infrastructure, or related software platforms
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; writing, publishing and conference-level presentation skills a plus
To qualify for the role you must have:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems Management, Accounting, Finance or a related field
- Minimum of 4+ years of post-bachelor's work experience (or 2 years for Master’s degree); at least two (2) years of which must be relevant work experience at a financial services company or comparable experience working as a consultant in a professional services firm delivering advisory services. Ability to conduct and lead project work, informing leadership of project status and managing staff performance
- Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables the business through effective strategic planning, governance and management discipline
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing client demands
- Remain current on technology advancements and obtain certifications required to drive advisory services capabilities
- Experience in project delivery including configurations, release management and change management as well as knowledge of integration plans, integration reports and test procedures
- Experience in scheduling and delivering implementations that include multiple components with tight interdependencies between these components
- Experience in 3 of the following Technical Competencies:

Ideally, you’ll also have
- Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes such as PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, CMMI, product management, systems development life cycles
- Experience using tools such as Rally, Jira, Jira Align, MS Power Platform, Microsoft Project Online, Microsoft Azure DevOps (ADO)
- Relevant industry certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master/Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe DevOps, Leading SAFe, Lean Six Sigma (Any), Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified associate in project management (CAPM)

- We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
- Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
