We are seeking an R&D Tax Incentives Specialist to join our Tax team with the following qualifications:
Your key responsibilities
- Contribute to the effective delivery of R&D incentive services, ensuring the timely and high-quality completion of all processes,
- Perform monthly eligibility day checks, review R&D incentives, including income tax and social security premium incentives, and support audit processes,
- Review R&D deduction and TDZ income exemption calculations, and support audit processes,
- Prepare activity reports and exemption reports in line with applicable regulations,
- Monitor and manage portal application and notification processes,
- Support the analysis of technical R&D project reports,
- Support R&D/Design Center and TDZ application processes,
- Follow up on project applications and related reporting processes submitted to TÜBİTAK and other relevant institutions
Skills and attributes for success
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or business administration (Economics, Finance, Management, or related fields),
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience,
- At least an intermediate level of English proficiency,
- Ability to adapt and learn in a fast-paced environment,
- Strong analytical thinking skills and attention to detail,
- Good communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative mindset.
- Basic knowledge and practical experience in R&D processes and incentives, particularly within the scope of Law No. 5746 and 4691,
- Strong interest in developing expertise in R&D legislation,
- Team-oriented mindset with the ability to adapt to new environments,
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills,
- Willingness to continuously learn and develop technical knowledge,
- Ability to support client communication and maintain strong working relationships,
- Collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams,
- A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
