The opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an HR professional looking to broaden experience across multiple facets of HR operations. Reporting to the HR Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting EY offices in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, ensuring seamless service delivery throughout the employee lifecycle.
You will collaborate closely with Assurance Service Line Talent teams and partner with other Talent functions to deliver a consistent and high-quality experience, drive operational efficiency, and contribute to timely and effective HR solutions.
Your key responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Manage employee lifecycle activities, including probation reviews, performance management cases, and separations, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational policies.
- Work with counselors and HR stakeholders to address employee relations matters, including disciplinary actions and grievance resolutions.
- Coordinate and implement operational processes, including Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and employee exits, ensuring smooth execution and timely delivery.
- Support local HR operations, including liaising with external authorities, preparing employee documentation, and handling ad hoc office requirements.
- Contribute to cross-functional HR initiatives and collaborate with Talent teams to ensure consistent service delivery across locations.
Skills and attributes for success
- 4+ years of experience in HR operations within a professional services firm or a complex organization.
- Exposure to HR operations at a MENA or international level is desirable.
- Experience with shared services and handling large-scale projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong operational skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive matters with discretion and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
