Job description
Risk Management supports our people in managing the risks that arise during our daily working lives. We work closely with all parts of the organization to identify, manage and monitor risk, providing coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, compliance, regulatory, policy, security issues, as well as dealing with claims and any queries regarding ethics.
The opportunity
This position offers tremendous learning opportunities and career potential to the right individual. As an Intern supporting the Independence team, you would be involved in assisting our regulatory breach team, with an opportunity to work on other Independence-related projects as needed.
Your key responsibilities
- Interact with team members to complete projects and acquire subject matter knowledge
- Attend internal and/or external meetings to gain an understanding of the client needs
- Learn and use EY technology tools to contribute to the team’s project work
- Use Microsoft technology suite of products to develop spreadsheets, PowerPoint and/or Word documents
- Take direction from others to enable independent work on assignments; report back as needed, to produce quality results

- Proficiency in MS Office
To qualify, you must have
- Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related business discipline
- GPA of 3.0 or above
