Your key responsibilities

Job Title: Backend Developer – Flask/FastAPI

Experience: 3–5 years
Location: Mumbai, India
Job Summary:
Responsible for developing backend microservices for AnswerLink using Flask/FastAPI, including authentication and RBAC modules. The role involves building clean, well-structured API endpoints, integrating with Azure services, and ensuring seamless collaboration with frontend teams and GenAI modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop backend microservices using Flask/FastAPI and Python.
• Build RESTful APIs, data models, and modular service layers.
• Implement RBAC, JWT tokens, and secure service-to-service authentication.
• Create CRUD endpoints for content repositories (FAQs, metadata).
• Integrate with Azure services: Postgres, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB (vector store).
• Support containerized deployments using Docker and AKS.
• Implement logging and monitoring (Azure Monitor or equivalent).
• Collaborate with frontend developers to finalize API contracts.
• Ensure maintainable code and meet performance/scalability requirements.
• Basic familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Bitbucket, Jenkins).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Flask/FastAPI and Python.
• Familiarity with Azure services and containerized microservices.
• Understanding of observability and monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of CI/CD practices.

Job Title: Backend Lead – Flask/FastAPI

Experience: 6+ years
Location: Mumbai, India
Job Summary:
Acts as the backend lead, responsible for defining and owning the architecture of all Flask/FastAPI microservices, including Search, FAQ Management, Auth RBAC, and Question Services. Ensures secure, scalable, and high-performing backend systems integrated with Azure and GenAI modules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define and own backend architecture for Flask/FastAPI microservices.
• Design scalable service boundaries and API contracts across modules.
• Architect data flows between Azure Postgres, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB vector search, and GenAI modules.
• Implement RBAC, user management workflows, and secure API access patterns.
• Integrate with Azure AI Search, embedding models, and vector database patterns.
• Enforce secure communication patterns and performance SLAs.
• Oversee AKS deployment pipelines and collaborate with DevOps for CI/CD.
• Guide backend developers on code quality, patterns, and automated testing.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior engineers.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Expert-level experience with Flask/FastAPI and Python microservices architecture.
• Strong data modeling skills across relational and NoSQL systems.
• Deep knowledge of RBAC and secure API design.
• Experience with Azure AI Search and vector database patterns.
• Strong CI/CD mindset with Bitbucket Pipelines, Jenkins, and automated testing.
• Leadership experience in guiding teams and enforcing best practices.
