Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.

 

Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.

 

Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.

  

The opportunity

 

This role is responsible for overseeing security operations, investigations and compliance measures to protect the organization’s assets, personnel and infrastructure. This role involves conducting security risk assessments, managing incident response processes and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a secure working environment.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

  • Oversee pre-screening processes, including background investigations for all employees and contractors. Manage sensitive security investigations, including theft, burglary and intrusion incidents.
  • Lead and manage security incident processes, including review, investigation, resolution and recommendations for security-related matters.
  • Identify areas of non-compliance across the facility and proactively develop solutions. Assess and monitor processes to mitigate single points of failure and enhance control strategies.
  • Provide intelligence and information to support the development and management of threat intelligence review processes and strategic security planning.
  • Act as a liaison with local and national laws enforcement agencies, intelligence counterparts and private security sector partners. Provide security consultation to internal stakeholders.
  • Share knowledge and train employees on security administration policies, standards and best practices. Conduct security awareness training sessions.
  • Manage the termination and suspension processes for employees, contractors and consultants as directed by management. Contribute to security planning strategies.
  • Conduct reviews, investigations, and assessments related to security incidents, supporting resolution strategies and recommending appropriate actions.
  • Evaluate security project designs, conduct onsite progress assessments and coordinate security aspects with project teams and user groups.
  • Support the development and execution of security response plans for corporate events, including conducting advance security reviews. Serve as a liaison with site security management. Also, Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

To qualify for the role, you must have

 

  • Minimum 5 years of work experience required in a related field.
  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.Sc.) or in a related field or a Master’s degree/Diploma in a related field.
  • Strong understanding of corporate security principles, risk assessment and compliance.
  • Knowledge of security technologies, surveillance systems and investigative techniques.
  • Ability to manage security clearances, access controls and personnel security processes.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
  • Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
