EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:
Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
The opportunity
This role leads the strategic vision and roadmap for a technical product or products within a specific business area, demonstrating a deep understanding of the product(s). Products may have enterprise-wide implications. This role also uses market insights to evaluate product functionality and informs the future product direction based on consumer trends and product performance.
Your key responsibilities
- Leads technical product management activities for multiple technical products, or one strategic technical product. Participates in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to create best practices that drive significant change to the client experience.
- Coaches’ technical product teams towards best practices and learnings. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- Partners with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
- Leads the planning, development and implementation of new technical products. Defines and analyzes technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
- Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
- Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
- Participates in the team’s engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
- Manages the entire product life cycle from planning to execution in alignment with business goals and strategy.
- Researches and analyzes market conditions to identify key consumer trends and opportunities for product enhancements or innovation.
- Determines product features and functions by gathering business and customer feedback and translating it into product requirements.
- Prepares product documentation and supports go-to-market activities by providing product knowledge to sales and marketing teams.
- Leverages market and performance feedback to evaluate product effectiveness and steer future product direction.

To qualify for the role, you must have
- Minimum 8 years of experience in technical product management, with at least 2 years leading large cross-functional teams. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field required; graduate degree preferred.
- Good to have skills in product lifecycle management, market analysis, product design, user experience evaluation, technical documentation, and cross-functional stakeholder collaboration. Technical knowledge in software development processes, APIs, cloud platforms, or data-driven product environments is important.
- Strong communication, strategic thinking, problem-solving, and project execution skills.
- Preferred certifications include Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Pragmatic Institute Product Management Certifications, or SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (POPM). Ability to balance technical feasibility with business viability and user desirability is essential.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
