Job Title: Hybrid Cloud Strategy Architect (Azure & GCP)

Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Hybrid Cloud Strategy / Cloud Architect with strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure, to lead enterprise-scale cloud architecture design, hybrid hosting strategies, and large-scale data center migration initiatives.

The role requires deep hands-on experience in cloud landing zones, networking, security, Kubernetes, automation, and application modernization, along with the ability to translate business and infrastructure requirements into scalable, secure, and cost-efficient hybrid cloud architectures.

The ideal candidate will bring a consultative mindset, working closely with infrastructure, application, security, and DevOps teams to modernize legacy environments and enable cloud-native platforms across IaaS, PaaS, and selective SaaS services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and govern hybrid and multi-cloud architectures across GCP, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Define and implement cloud landing zones, including identity, networking, security, and governance frameworks.
• Lead data center to GCP migration programs, covering assessment, planning, execution, and optimization.
• Architect and configure GCP networking and security services, including VPC, DNS, VPN, Interconnect, Cloud Armor, and IAM.
• Utilize GCP migration tools (Migration Center, migration services, Storage Transfer Service) for structured workload transitions.
• Design and operate container and platform services using GKE, App Engine, Cloud Run, and Cloud Functions.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code and automation using Terraform and scripting for standardized deployments.
• Support legacy OS modernization and transition to supported GCP and cloud-native platforms.
• Provide architectural guidance across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS consumption models, ensuring security and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, data, and application teams to enable CI/CD, observability, and scalable cloud operations.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science
• 11 to 14 years of experience in cloud architecture, infrastructure design, or hybrid hosting environments.
• Strong hands-on expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure architecture and services.
• Proven experience designing cloud landing zones, networking, security, and identity architectures.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • GCP networking (VPC, VPN, Interconnect, DNS, Cloud Armor)
  • IAM and security controls
  • Migration tools and data center exit programs
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (GKE), Terraform, and automation frameworks.
• Experience working across IaaS and PaaS services, with foundational understanding of SaaS models.
• Working knowledge of AWS services in multi-cloud or hybrid designs.
• Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation.

Cloud certifications such as:

• Google Professional Cloud Architect
• Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
• Terraform or Kubernetes certifications (CKA/CKAD)
