Title: Senior Specialist I, Product Architect - General

EY Technology supports our technology needs through three business units:
Client Technology (CT) - focuses on developing new technology services for our clients. It enables EY to identify new technology-based opportunities faster and pursue those opportunities more rapidly.
Enterprise Workplace Technology (EWT) – EWT supports our Core Business Services functions and will deliver fit-for-purpose technology infrastructure at the cheapest possible cost for quality services. EWT will also support our internal technology needs by focusing on a better user experience.
Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.
The opportunity
This role leads the definition of product roadmaps and architecture for a product family according to business strategies and enterprise architecture, while ensuring compliance, architecture reuse, and evaluation of emerging technologies.
Your key responsibilities

Leads the definition of product roadmaps and architecture for a product family, according to business strategies and enterprise architecture.

Collaborates with the broader architecture community to ensure that their products align with target architectures and technology roadmaps and provides input on required platform capabilities and improving development tools/processes.

Works with other product teams, technology experts, and business stakeholders to provide functional support.

Assists in the evaluation of vendors and products and participates in build vs. buy discussions with the product teams.

Acts as highest-level technical expert, resolving issues, assessing any potential risks and identifying solutions.

Leads the discussions related to key product architecture decisions. Identifies new opportunities to improve products and provide input and support to the business.

Develops and reviews product architecture and design documentation.

Provides technical guidance to product team(s) as appropriate.

Performs feasibility analysis on potential future projects.

Assists in the development of and management of architecture governance process(es).

Tracks industry trends and maintains knowledge of new technologies.

Mentors less experienced crew members and contributes to overall development of the organization.

Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

Ensures compliance with enterprise architecture standards, regulatory frameworks, and cybersecurity policies.

Supports solution alignment across multiple products and platforms for consistent architecture reuse.

Participates in proof-of-concept initiatives and emerging technology evaluations.

To qualify for the role, you must have

Minimum 10 years related work experience, with at least 5 years of technology architect experience.

Bachelor’s degree (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science or IT, or Bachelor’s in Computer Applications (BCA), or Master’s in Computer Applications (MCA).

Strong expertise in software architecture, system design and technology roadmaps.

Experience with cloud computing, microservices, API design and enterprise integration.

Ability to evaluate and implement new technologies while ensuring scalability and performance.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have

Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.

Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.

Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
