Position summary
The Senior shall provide advisory services of ESG Reporting solutions like Workiva, Watershed, etc., along with proven ESG Reporting subject matter knowledge to work efficiently with our key clients in their Digital Reporting solution implementations.
The Senior will be responsible for working closely with Managers and Senior Managers on client engagements. The role requires an indepth understanding of Workiva and Workiva Carbon module, along with well-developed communication skills. The Senior will be based out of our Noida / Bangalore / Pune / Kolkata / Hyderabad offices.
Primary responsibilities
- Lead configuration and enhancement on Workiva ESG and CSRD platform to meet business and regulatory needs of clients organisation
- Configure and manage Workiva ESG workspaces, including metrics, narratives, and disclosures
- Set up ESG templates aligned to reporting standards such as GRI, SASB, TCFD, CSRD
- Ensure consistent structure across ESG reports, dashboards, and workbooks
- Implement linked data models to maintain a single source of truth
- Build and maintain ESG disclosures for: Sustainability reports; Annual reports / integrated reports; Regulatory filings (e.g., CSRD-aligned disclosures)
- Ensure quality in delivering client service by directing daily progress of assigned deliverables and informing supervisors of engagement status.
- Receive direction from the Manager, Senior Manager and Partner.
- Identify engagement and client service issues. Research and benchmark client data to industry data. Explain
- the client's critical success factors to the engagement team.
- Follow through on client requests in a timely fashion, and manage expectations regarding the timing of deliverables and reports
- Responsible for decision-making, optimizing processes, resource management, and overseeing team management as needed for task execution.
- Accountable for allocating personnel, supervising team members, assigning tasks, ensuring that the team has the necessary tools and support to succeed in their roles and optimizing and evaluating their performance to meet organizational goals.
Qualifications, skills, and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Environmental Management Information Systems.
- 3–6 years of consulting work experience in ESG Reporting solution implementation/support.
- Mandatory Experience with implementation and deployment of Workiva Sustainability Reporting Module.
- Exposure to EHS & ESG process areas like Incident Management, Audits, Risk, Compliance management, Chemical Management, and Industrial hygiene
- Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, and technical writing skills
- Ability and comfort level in researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies
- Flexibility and willingness to travel on short notice, as necessary
