The opportunity

You will be responsible to develop large and complex web applications architecture, composed of components, standards that govern how data is represented, arranged, integrated and used by users, including the design, build and documents to address business requirements

You will be responsible to create sound project plans with the business by engaging with multidisciplinary teams, and by identifying, managing and mitigating risk

You will be responsible to develop relationships across the business to understand data requirements, applies deep technical knowledge of data management to solve business problems in areas where solutions may not currently exist, necessitating new solutions / ways of working / technologies and proactively articulating these to the business

Skills and attributes for success

  • Provide people leadership, manage and lead a team of technical support staff who design, develop, test, implement, and monitor software and tools. Manage junior people leaders and drives outcomes.
  • Strong collaboration with their counterpart IT leaders in US in jointly driving department OKRs. Strong relationship management. Strong technical acumen on SaaS products. 
  • Experience leading transformation and product/automation engineering. Can lead global teams.
  • Strong ability to manage stakeholders.  Clear communication. Ability to manage hybrid teams and vendor relationships. Ability to lead cross functional teams.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Provide guidance and training as necessary to develop crew. Sets performance standards, reviews performance, and makes informed compensation decisions in accordance with all applicable Human Resources policies and procedures.
  • Work closely with management to develop and implement staffing and operational plans.
  • Effectively leverage various staffing options and manages a global workforce. Participates in the development of short- and long-term department goals. Monitors and reports on service delivery metrics and overall performance.
  • Develop and implement changes to department policies and procedures to meet changing business needs and to achieve department objectives
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and evaluates and recommends appropriate strategies and technologies for building products and delivering services.
  • Lead quality initiatives to improve the delivery of service levels. Work with senior management in the planning, development, and execution of short- and long-range goals
  • Present status, metrics, and department initiatives at meetings with management and project peers. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to provide long-term collaborations and deliver successful business outcomes.
  • Review expenses and ensures department operates within budgetary guidelines. Leads the strategy and execution to build, buy, and integrate business technology solutions.
  • Identify and mitigates risks throughout the project lifecycle to ensure smooth execution.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and third-party service providers to ensure quality and timely project deliverables.

  • Responsible for delivering software releases relating to the product for the business units, managing the testing, evaluation, and selection of IT vendor products. Works with business clients to determine scope and develops environmental requirements for each project.
  • Ensures staff complies with information technology and information security policies and procedures and verifies that deliverables meet requirements.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
  • Participate in the development of the department budget.
  • Oversees end-to-end IT project planning and execution to ensure alignment with strategic business goals.
  • Leads the software development lifecycle (SDLC), ensuring timely and effective implementation of IT initiatives.
