The opportunity

You will help clients determine the best way to design and develop state of the art applications to optimize business processes leveraging Appian BPM Development platform.

 

Your key responsibilities

  • Work effectively as a team lead, share responsibility, provide support, maintain communication and update managers on progress of tasks
  • Continuously strive towards exceeding client & team expectations and working on increasingly complex assignments
  • Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client/onsite personnel
  • Ensure on-time delivery of allocated tasks
  • Participate in Scrum ceremonies and provide status updates
  • Participate in design, development, QA, deployment and support as require
  • Compliance to EY policies and procedures like Timesheet / Leaves management etc.
  • Ensuring adherence to quality protocols specified for the project
  • Update technical architecture/design and unit test cases and ensure high quality deliverables
  • Building of Technical Assets and Accelerators.
  • This role leads a 6-member product team in our India office, supporting legal, compliance, and automation platforms.

 

Skills and attributes for success

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills along with experience in producing high quality reports and presentations as needed
  • Participating in the organization-wide people initiatives.
  • Hands on experience on at least 5-6 projects
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE platform is a plus
  • Understanding of relational database and hands-on experience in PL/SQL
  • Should cross skill and cross train as per the business requirements.

 

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • Architect and Design the Appian applications
  • Experience in Appian Process Models, Integrations, SAIL Interface, Web API, Reporting
  • Hands on experience on BPMS implementations – process design, form design, rules, SAIL, CDTs
  • Understanding of BPMN, XML, XSD
  • Understanding of Appian best practices
  • Good understanding of relational database and hands-on experience in PL/SQL.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Hands on experience on at least 5-6 projects
  • Knowledge of Java/J2EE platform is a plus
  • Working knowledge of project implementation methodologies.
  • The manager will oversee sprint planning, stakeholder communication, and delivery execution. The team owns Smarsh and Redoak end-to-end, and provides production support and enhancements for Passport, Mitratech, iManage, DFIN Arc Filing and Pro, and automation tools built using UiPath and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • The manager will also serve as a people leader responsible for mentoring, performance reviews, and career development.
  • Strong collaboration with US-based product teams is essential. Experience with enterprise SaaS platforms, vendor coordination, and legal capabilities such as eDiscovery, Matter Management, Document Management, and Contract AI is strongly preferred.

 

Ideally, you should also have

  • B.E/B.Tech (Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, Comp. Science)/MCA with a minimum of 8-12 years of experience with Big 4 or panelled SI/ ITeS companies
  • Tech. Lead skills
  • Working experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies
