The opportunity
The Sales Support Executive (Senior Consultant) will play a critical role in enabling Consulting sales and growth by providing end to end support across pipeline management, presales operations, commercial governance, and stakeholder coordination. This role acts as a trusted partner to Sales Leaders, Account Leaders, and Practice Leadership to ensure high quality deal execution, accurate reporting, and operational rigor across the sales lifecycle.
The role requires strong understanding of consulting sales processes, excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to manage multiple pursuits in a fast paced, matrixed environment
Your key responsibilities
Sales & Pipeline Support
- Support Sales Leaders and Account Teams across the entire opportunity lifecycle – from qualification to deal closure
- Maintain and govern sales pipeline hygiene in CRM tools (e.g., SFDC or equivalent), ensuring accuracy of stages, forecasts, and win probability
- Track and monitor key deal metrics such as pipeline value, aging, conversion ratios, and closure timelines
- Proactively flag risks, dependencies, and gaps in active pursuits
Presales & Deal Management
- Coordinate presales activities including RFPs, RFIs, proposals, estimations, and presentations
- Work closely with Solution Architects, Delivery Leaders, and Finance to ensure completeness and quality of proposals
- Support commercial constructs including scope summaries, pricing inputs, assumptions, and approval workflows
- Ensure adherence to internal deal governance, approval, and compliance processes
Stakeholder Management
- Act as a central coordination point between Sales, Consulting Practices, Finance, Legal, Risk, and Operations
- Support senior leadership reviews, pipeline calls, and sales governance forums
- Prepare high quality executive ready materials such as pipeline dashboards, deal summaries, and review packs
Reporting & Analytics
- Own preparation of sales and pipeline reports for leadership consumption
- Analyze trends related to pipeline health, conversion, revenue realization, and sales effectiveness
- Drive continuous improvement in reporting quality, automation, and insights
Process Excellence & Enablement
- Ensure compliance with standard sales processes, tools, and templates
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance sales efficiency
- Coach and guide junior sales support resources, where applicable
Skills & Competencies
Core Skills
- Strong understanding of consulting sales and presales processes
- Experience supporting complex, multi service consulting deals
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM platforms (SFDC preferred)
- Strong analytical, documentation, and data interpretation skills
Stakeholder & Communication Skills
- Ability to work with senior leaders and cross functional global teams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Experience & Qualifications
- 4–8 years of experience in Sales Support, Presales, Deal Management, or Sales Operations within a Consulting / Professional Services firm
- Experience in working & managing global stakeholders. Should have driven significant business outcomes as a part of their role
- Prior experience supporting Technology, Digital, Data, or Enterprise Consulting sales is strongly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent is an added advantage
