EY-Parthenon - Corporate Finance - Capital Equipment - Manager - Multiple Positions - 1683859, Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Houston, TX.
Provide clients with valuation advice for machinery, equipment and related fixed assets. Develop and review tangible personal property valuation models for strategic planning; mergers and acquisitions; investment appraisal; reorganizations/restructurings; financial reporting and tax planning; and integrations and divestitures. Conduct report generation and detailed financial modeling for the purposes of assessing tangible personal property.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master's degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field plus 3 years of related work experience.
Of required work experience, must have 3 years of direct experience utilizing valuation techniques and methodologies (Income, Market and Cost Approaches) performed for Purchase Price Allocations (PPA), Goodwill Impairment testing and tax reporting within a professional accounting firm or practice; a venture capital, investment banking, commercial banking, financial research, or national valuation firm; or in a corporate finance role for an organization.
Must have 3 years of experience in financial reporting valuation.
Must have 3 years of financial modeling experience building models from scratch using Alteryx, MS Power BI, MS Excel, or MS Access or related software, including designing and programming subroutines and commands in SQL, Visual Basic, or related language.
Must have 3 years of experience in working on personal property valuation engagements.
Must have 3 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
Must have 3 years of experience in financial and tax reporting.
Must have 1 year of experience managing engagements and engagement related budgets billing, and invoicing; and leading teams, including projects and engagement leadership, goal setting, and performance reviews.
This experience must include 1 year supervising and training staff analysts, preparing proposals as part of pursuing opportunities, and developing project workplans and fee estimates.
Travel required up to 35% nationally.
