Consulting - Technology Consulting - AI & Data - Enterprise Data - Data Architect (Multiple Positions) (1641759), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Houston, TX.
Drive the application of cutting-edge technology and techniques to bring solutions to clients, working with them to help navigate the complex world of advanced analytics and provide a unique business perspective on how advanced analytics can transform and improve their organization. Deliver tech consulting services in data strategy, big data engineering, business intelligence, and digital. Extract large quantities of data from client's IT systems, develop efficient ETL and data management processes, and build architectures for rapid ingestion and dissemination of key data. Collaborate with information architecture teams to build logical/canonical and physical data models aligned with conceptual data models. Work with product teams to define data sources by partnering with information and enterprise architecture and to ensure data meets business requirements. Analyze existing data stores and interfaces to support current state and future data models. Facilitate data requirements elicitation and modeling sessions including use of interview, document analysis, and workshops. Assist with the development and enforcement of data modeling standards as well as participate in data definition and data management reviews. Establish and maintain processes to support and grow data modeling practices.
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services by monitoring progress. Demonstrate in-depth technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.
Must have 4 years of experience providing professional external consulting services
Must have 4 years of experience in data modelling, data engineering, data architecture, data design, and data governance concepts
Must have 2 years of experience using the Unified Modelling Language (UML) to model and describe systems
Must have 4 years of experience using the Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERDs) and Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes and data ingestion/cleansing
Must have 2 years of experience using Python, Java, and REST APIs
Must have 2 years of experience in any of the following cloud platforms: Azure, AWS, or Google
Must have 2 years of experience navigating various types of database models to build data sets for analytics and model training and development.
Travel required up to 50%, of which 20% may be international, to meet client needs.
