Your key responsibilities

• Responsible for design and help implement the frontend application
• Evaluate code to ensure validity, proper structure, and compatibility with browsers, devices, and operating systems
• Resolves issues regarding functions, features and components of multiple tools
• Collaborate with team members via Git using feature branches in a continuous deployment environment
• Works with agile methods as part of product, service and solution development
• Applies major tools and techniques associated with agile methodology and updates approaches for subsequent stages
• Works with technical or functional design for a component of an application or software product
• Prepares application and software design and development plans highlighting phases, activities, dependencies, deliverables, and key decision points
• Reviews and formalizes impact evaluation of solutions against requirements
• Applies test driven development process (including adding, running all tests, writing code and refactoring code)

To qualify for the role, you must have

• At least 3 years of responsive frontend application development
• At least 1 year experience working in the Agile/Scrum environment
• Proficient understanding in web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and frontend frameworks (e.g. jQuery, Bootstrap, etc …)
• In-depth knowledge of the concept of MVVM, Flux, Redux
• Strong experience in using AngularJS or VueJS or ReactJS
• Experience in using ECMA Script 6 or TypeScript
• Experience in using grunt or glup
• Experience in using mocha.js, shoud.js, chai.js
• Proficient understanding of Git (Github, Bitbucket)
• Fluent in English, and Chinese (both written and verbal). Knowing Mandarin would be an advantage

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Experience in using Webpack would be an advantage
• Experience in using Websocket would be an advantage
• Experience in using React Native would be an advantage
• Experience in using Appium or Selenium to automate the frontend testing would be an advantage
