Background

Within EY Financial Accounting Advisory Services service line, Financial Applications, Processes and Analytics (FAPA) professionals provide advisory services encompassing financial applications rules, data and chart of accounts setup assistance, process optimization, process automation, data analytics, governance, cleansing, integration and visualization. We combine EY accounting, technology, analytics and process knowledge to create values, generate insights while enhancing operational efficiency and effectiveness for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Deliver FAPA advisory services ranging from financial reporting related applications rules and data setup and support, process optimization, process discovery and analysis, process automation, data analytics, governance, cleansing, integration and visualization to address client’s practical issues in financial reporting and business-related processes.
• Develop core analytical capabilities, using advanced statistical, quantitative, or econometric techniques.
• Develop core technology capabilities, using various process mining and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tools
• Provide business process and control related advice associated with analytics findings.
• Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds.
• Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on client’s concerns and issues.
• Work with other advisory teams in delivering finance transformation, process optimization and data enhancement type of project
• Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge.
• Develop professional network and relationships within the firm, and with clients and target professionals.
• Actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor /Master Holder of Accounting, Business, Finance, Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines.
• 3-4 years of working experience including at least 1 year of experience working as an advisor to provide financial/non-financial application process and data setup, process optimization, data analytics, governance, cleansing and visualization services.
• Prior work experience in audit/or consulting field preferred (preferable but not a must)
• CPA certified preferred (preferable but not a must) 
• Experience and knowledge in Machine Learning/AI preferred
• Experience with process mining and/or data analytics and visualization tools (e.g. Celonois, Alteryx, Spotfire, Power BI, Hadoop, Qlik)
• Experience with programming language (Python, SQL, R) preferred
• Excellent command of written and spoken Chinese and English, fluent Mandarin is preferred.
