The APAC FSO Insurance Strategic Operations role is responsible for supporting the development of the APAC FSO Insurance strategy and lead the strategic execution for the Insurance sector across APAC FSO.

 

Working closely with the APAC FSO Insurance Sector Leader and his/her leadership team, this person is responsible for ensuring strategic and tactical planning is undertaken seamlessly, monitoring key performance indicators, identifying trends and delivering insights, overseeing pipeline management and building a strong sector community.  

 

Critical to this role is building relationships with people at all levels across Asia-Pacific and Global Sector, across all service lines and functions (finance, business development, brand, marketing, and communications, and operations), and Account teams. Client service experience within Insurance will also be seen favourably for this role. 

 

This role forms part of the APAC FSO Markets’ Operations team, as well as part of the FSO APAC Insurance leadership team.

 

Your key responsibilities


Working directly with and on behalf of the APAC FSO Insurance Leader to:

 

  • Define the sector strategy and implementing priorities
  • Drive operational processes for Insurance: revenue planning – Sector and Accounts; investment/resource planning requirements
  • Understand demand and translate that into sector capability build out, connecting this with Field of Play and Service Line growth plans 
  • Engage the appropriate Subject Matter Resources, Knowledge team and BMC to activate Sector thought leadership and points of view for go-to-market initiatives
  • Help activate our APAC FSO Markets’ FOP strategy across Sector and priority AGA accounts
  • Work with BD Activation team and account teams to support and enable AGA accounts, such as working with Client Executives to design and facilitate Account Acceleration sessions, supporting annual account review processes, revenue planning etc.
  • Activate and support our sector strategic solutions across the region, working with Sector leadership network
  • Build strong, well-connected Insurance communities: sharing expertise and use cases from other markets and accounts to identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Engage with APAC FSO Markets’ Learning & Development leader to build INS specific expertise

 

To qualify for the role you must have

 

  • Some client service experience in Insurance Sector is preferred
  • Business strategy development experience 
  • Business and financial acumen and the ability to interpret results and provide advice on performance
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organization
  • Help in managing multiple agendas; Ability to help manage projects from start to finish
  • Strong communication skills

 

The position holder will perform other responsibilities and tasks as required to achieve the agreed performance outcomes

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

 

  • Strategic, broad thinker with strong problem solving skills
  • Strong relationship building skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders at all levels across the organisation
  • Project management skills and ability to be agile and manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Strong negotiating and influencing skills to drive agenda to conclusion
