At EY, we’re all in to shape your future with confidence.

We’ll help you succeed in a globally connected powerhouse of diverse teams and take your career wherever you want it to go.  Join EY and help to build a better working world.

Enterprise Technology provides reliable, secure and resilient technology services and solutions to support our 400,000 EY people. As part of our team, you’ll be at the forefront of enabling innovative technologies that support our premier client experience teams.

This role will report to the Global Associate Director who leads the EY wavespace / Office Technology team. EY Wavespace is a global network of innovation spaces designed to help organizations accelerate their transformation journeys.  Our technology team plays a crucial role in developing cutting-edge solutions that drive business value and enhance customer experiences.

The opportunity

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our EY Wavespace technology team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving the onboarding process of new products, managing renewals and enhancements of existing products, ensuring compliance with internal policies & standards, and improving the product experience through collaboration with our customer-facing product managers and other stakeholders. This role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline onboarding workflows, manage vendor relationships, and support the execution of adoption-related activities that align with our business objectives.

Your key responsibilities

The role is responsible for onboarding, governance, and support of niche products our team offers to our EY wavespace teams, primarily focusing on software. This role will complement our Regional Product Management leads who oversee the end-to-end technology experience for EY wavespace, including infrastructure and audio/visual components for various regions. At a high level, this role is responsible for:

  • Product onboarding: manage the onboarding of new products and significant features through collaboration with the sourcing team, vendors, data privacy, information security and stakeholders across multiple operating regions.
  • Process improvement: establish more consistency and speed in our onboarding process to take advantage of existing relationships and evaluations/pilots that help us get more value to the business sooner than an all-inclusive product launch.
  • Support & compliance: manage support workflows and documentation (including knowledge base articles) related to product administration and support. Ensure compliance with the policies of our operating regions and manage end-of-life processes for outdated products.
  • Collaboration on our customer experience: work directly with our Regional Product Leads to receive and triage new products (and business cases) that will be onboarded. Explore emerging technology across EY to identify new products (or products to be tailored) for our EY wavespace teams.
  • Vendor management: be the primary contact for our software vendors to funnel product feedback, support new enhancements and manage overall relationships to maintain ongoing service and support for our products.
  • Strategy & roadmapping: maintain a central roadmap for all wavespace-unique software products that reflects our multi-year strategy (informed by the Regional Product Leads) and provides clear objectives for execution through the next 18 months.
  • Product administration, optimization & financials: be the primary contact for license administration, including usage analytics, license recovery and compliance for our users. Rationalize and optimize the product portfolio where possible. Coordinate with our finance team for accurate month-to-month financial forecasting to ensure accurate budgets and cost analyses.
  • Product success & adoption: partner with our Regional Product Leads to identify and coordinate opportunities to increase adoption, utilization and effectiveness of our products.

Skills and attributes for success

  • History of cross-functional collaboration and execution with a mix of teams in sourcing, legal, data privacy, information security and/or engineering
  • Experience in product management, product lifecycle management or product-driven project management
  • A firm grasp of principles of innovation, user experience, and technology
  • Ability to work with people and vendors in a variety of cultures, countries and time zones
  • Experience in diverse technology consulting environments
  • Strong verbal and written English

Other Requirements:

The role has a global scope and requires periodic early or late meetings to support global stakeholders and to manage escalated issues.  Some minimal travel may be required to support planned activities.

Job Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor in Information Technology or Business Management or equivalent work experience

Experience:

Approximately 3 years of experience in a comparable role and 7+ years in Information Technology roles
