As EY continues to grow our Alliances, we need a US-based Alliance Relationship Program & Operations Associate Director (ARD) who can work with Microsoft to drive the growth of  Microsoft partner programs across the firm, supporting our GTM – including developing a global execution approach, managing key relationships inside EY and Microsoft, driving governance and collaboration with Microsoft, leading partner program operations, contracts and compliance management, and performance intelligence and insights. This is a great opportunity to work with people across the global firm, as well as across multiple EY service lines and sectors. 


Your key responsibilities


Your role will sit in the Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship team that provides alliance management of the top EY alliances. Specifically, the Microsoft Program & Operations ARD will be part of the Global Microsoft Alliance team, working directly with Global Alliance Leadership, counterparts at Microsoft, and EY’s delivery practices and geographies, to manage, coordinate and deliver upon of the strategic objectives of the Microsoft alliance programme.


Your primary responsibilities will include: 

 

  • Develop and execute Microsoft alliance program and operations strategy
  • Engage with key Microsoft counterparts to develop a deep understanding of current and future programs
  •  Drive the adoption of alliance partner programs globally, leading the central operations and overseeing execution across the network
  • Manage a global rhythm of business - coordinating operations, reporting and intelligence, sales and practice teams, and the regional network
  • Lead intelligence and performance management, delivering complete and accurate financial reporting and insights, operational improvement initiatives, and alliance success metrics, as needed for specific Microsoft alliance partner impact KPIs
  • Lead offshore team to execute operations and enablement activities globally
  • Coordinate compliance with internal policies, requirements and risk management 
  • Contribute to the Global Alliance and Ecosystem Relationship network by contributing content, knowledge sharing, and market insights

    
This role location is flexible. You can anticipate a mix of virtual work along with regular coordination with other team members across the Globe. The role will require some travel.


Skills and attributes for success

 

  • To qualify for the role you must have:
    • Able to juggle many activities and provide enablement services in the areas of: relationship management, governance oversight, marketing strategy, contract management, financial management, content management, operational support, strong relationship building skills and is highly organized
    • Experience leading offshore enablement and operations teams
    • Understanding of technology and business benefits of relevant alliance partner products and solutions
    • Experience in alliance management or business development for technology or professional services company
    • Experience and evidence of success in building and nurturing win-win alliance relationships
    • Strong networking and influence management skills resulting in driving actions to outcomes and delivering results actions across organizational boundaries
    • Highly credible communicator with excellent organization and project management skills and proven track record delivering alliance sales and revenues

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges.   • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $200,000 to $385,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $240,000 to $437,500.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
