Innovation & Experience Designer, Core Business Services - EY Wavespace™ (Manager) (Multiple Positions) (1645250), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ. 

 

Design and facilitate large-scale workshop experiences focused on our client’s most challenging business transformation opportunities.  EY wavespace™ experiences are rooted in design thinking and systems thinking methodologies and delivered through manual design thinking approaches and leveraging appropriate collaboration technology tools. Enable organizations to identify and address their most critical issues, ranging from strategic direction and alignment, digital disruption and, organizational responses to the pace of change whether technological, political or societal in nature. Work with global clients to understand and address their largest and most complex performance opportunities. Design and deliver strategic, design thinking-based workshops to help clients increase alignment and collaboration to shape the future with confidence.  
 
Manage and motivate teams of professionals with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client experiences. Manage stakeholder expectations.  Ensure team’s work outputs map to expectations and that the strategic design will meet client’s desired outcomes and expectations.  Demonstrate in-depth collaborative facilitation and design thinking capabilities and professional knowledge. Maintain long-term client relationships and networks. Cultivate business development opportunities.

 

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm. 

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

 

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Design, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Organizational Studies or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience.  Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Design, Human Resources Management, Psychology, Cognitive Science, Communications, Organizational Studies or a related field and 4 years of related work experience.  

 

Must have 4 years of experience in providing advisory and/or consulting services in at least 2 of the following:  
· Organizational Change Management  
· Organizational Design 
· Design thinking  
· Operating & delivery modelling and implementation  
· Customer Experience mapping/journey mapping 
· Digital design 
· Digital transformation  
· Large-scale transformation  

 

Must have 4 years of experience developing design thinking based strategic workshop experiences to support transformative client engagements in a combination of at least two of the following objectives:  · Understanding clients’ biggest questions and broadening their exposure to aligned market trends, case studies, examples, and leading practices. 
· Presenting options to clients that will drive significant change in relation to their biggest questions. 
· Creating tactical and practical steps for resolution. 
· Supporting the alignment of groups through collaborative facilitation and design thinking experiences.

 

Must have 4 years of experience in translating complex business transformation issues into clear problem statements and designing processes for organizational resolution. 

 

Must have 4 years of experience managing the design of innovation workshops/sessions and facilitating their delivery. 

 

Must have 4 years of experience in planning and managing at least two complex and critical business transformation projects across multiple locations.  

 

Must have 4 years of experience supervising advisory and/or consulting professionals.  

 

Requires domestic travel up to 90% to serve client needs.

The base salary for this job is $225,840.00 per year. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
