Information Security (Info Sec) - Info Sec prevents, detects, responds and mitigates cyber-risk, protecting EY and client data, and our information management systems.  

 

The opportunity

The Data Security Services (DSS) team is responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of processes and supporting technologies with the aim to identify, detect and prevent misuse, unauthorized access and/or improper handling of sensitive data. The DSS Service Management Lead will directly report to Global lead of Data Security Services and will be responsible for interfacing with internal customers and stakeholders in delivering enterprise scale data security services across EY organization.

 

Your key responsibilities

The DSS Service Management Lead will be primarily responsible for:

  • Lead team of experienced Area Service Managers who are primary contact of their customers providing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) and other Data Security Services.
  • Lead Service Management Support team members providing project management, change management, process framework and reporting support for the three DSS functions.
  • This role will work closely with other DSS leads to develop, design and execution of Data Security Services strategy that is overall aligned with EY Information Security strategy.
  • Direct support DSS customers and other key stakeholders on continuous service improvement, including but not limited to gather their feedback, articulate DSS strategy and roadmap, provide regular service updates.

  • Possess a versatile communication style that adjusts to the audience; communications to top management will need to be different for lower levels as well as external parties

 

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Demonstrate integrity and judgement within a professional environment
  • Advanced degree in related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • Ten or more years of experience in IT Service Management roles
  • Five or more years of experience in project or program management function
  • Exceptional judgement, tact and decision-making ability
  • Outstanding management, interpersonal, communication, organizational and decision-making skills.

 

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Global mindset for working with different cultures and backgrounds
  • Ability to appropriately balance firm security needs with business impact and benefit

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges.   • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $152,700 to $294,000.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $183,300 to $334,100.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
