Job description
Consultant, Business Consulting - Transformation Architecture - Wealth & Asset Management (Senior)(Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, Hoboken, NJ.
Work with clients to analyze information to make sound business and investment decisions. Evaluate financial data and economic and business trends to help clients gain insight across the banking, capital markets, wealth and asset management, and insurance sectors. Evaluate and compare business and historical data to forecast business, industry, or economic conditions and recommend strategies. Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to the client's business. Developing subject matter expertise across the wealth management sector. Conduct primary and secondary research to support the development of transformative go-to-market strategies and roadmaps including competitive benchmarking, customer experience/journeys and segmentation, FinTech M&A and integration, and market entry. Support clients in building industry leading solutions utilizing Agile methodologies across the product development lifecycle from ideation to implementation; working cross functionally with User Experience/Design and Technology businesses. Partnering with senior practitioners to develop industry defining thought leadership to form EY’s perspective on disruptive topics in Wealth Management such as digital marketing, financial wellness, sustainability and ESG, behavioral science, and AI driven robo-advisor tools.
Provide technical guidance and share knowledge with team members with diverse skills and backgrounds. Consistently deliver quality client services focusing on more complex, judgmental and/or specialized issues. Demonstrate technical capabilities and professional knowledge. Learn about EY and its service lines and actively assess and present ways to apply knowledge and services.
Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, political science, or a related field and 2 years of related work experience in wealth management. Alternatively, must have a Master’s degree in business, finance, accounting, computer science, engineering, political science, or a related field and 1 year of related work experience in wealth management.
Must have 1 year of experience working at a professional services firm, financial services company or comparable experience working as an advisor to a financial services company.
Must have 1 year of experience working in a wealth management firm, private bank, investment area of an insurance company, mutual fund complex, third-party service provider, or as a consultant in one of these companies.
Must have 1 year of experience communicating technical study conclusions through written reports and presentations using PowerPoint, Excel, Word, or Visio.
Must have 1 year of experience in a combination of any of the following skills:
-Researching client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.
-Providing support for new product or business launches.
-System and service provider selections and implementations.
Requires travel up to 75% of which 25% may be international, in order to meet client needs.
