The opportunity

The Experience Innovation Strategy Leader actively partners with clients and their customers, and stakeholders across the business to deliver actionable strategies, streamlined practices and technological solutions that create compelling value and decisive outcomes through exceptional experiences from EY’s suite of technologies.

 

You will facilitate and define the direction for sophisticated systems by joining forces across disciplines to explore, incubate and ensure the effective delivery of compelling digital experiences. You are a savvy creator of technological solutions with differentiated features and capabilities, and someone who is fluent in the end-to-end customer journey, as well as the client process and workflow.

 

You will be a visible leader in an inspirational culture, one that is built around the celebration of creativity, user-centricity, diversity and inclusion. You will create, improve and manage user experience methodologies, practices, tools and new data driven paradigms.

 

Your top responsibilities

  • Formulating ‘experience innovation’ vision, strategy, capability and operating model.
  • Devising technological products and solutions defined by exceptional quality experiences that are informed by data.
  • Designing, developing and implementing an experience layer of tools and technologies which allows for personalization at a user/persona level, working closely with Alliance partners such as Adobe across their suite of user interface and personalization technologies. This includes operating across physical, digital and hybrid solution areas throughout end-to-end journeys.
  • Equipping and managing global design studios optimized for client experience and co-creation.  Deploying ‘living-design-lab’ for test-oriented prototyping and agile generation of new data and insights.
  • Engaging with clients, their customers, partners, analysts, academia, organizations and industry bodies to promote EY as a leader in the area of Experience through differentiated products and platforms in the market with a value-driven and growth mindset. This includes engaging in industry thought leadership activities and technology showcase at public events and incubating advanced technology demonstrations, generating interactive media and publications
  • Collaborating with stakeholders across the business and in interdisciplinary activities to succeed together. Formalizing partner ecosystem, engagement models and go-to-market strategies.
  • Overseeing the user experience team to achieve best-in-class user experience accreditation in the market. Promoting design excellence across product team by scaling knowledge sharing programs and training.

 

Skills and attributes for success

EY’s technology alliance community is growing, and exposure to new clients and industries is frequent. You’ll lead new business efforts in partnership with the engagement teams and seek to pull individuals in as relevant to inform proposals.

  • Master’s in Business Administration or equivalent degree.
  • 10+ years of leadership and innovation experience in the technology sector.
  • Consulting skills and C-suite executive client engagement experience with global brands.
  • Design studio management and tactical work involving design thinking, service design, user experience, customer experience, digital and industrial design, as well as technology demonstrations.
  • People management, coaching, mentoring and training skills.
  • Portfolio with body of work involving ventures, emerging technologies and digital transformation.
  • Technology demonstrations and presentations at industry forums, conferences and events.
  • Experience partnering with, or conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research, from insights to implications leading to product definition and delivery.
  • Ability to manage growing product portfolio and multiple projects in a fast-paced, complex and deadline-driven environment.
  • Proven ability to navigate, build consensus and work effectively within multi-disciplinary and cross-departmental teams in client and in-house organizations.
  • Ability to map out options and solve complex problems in an ambiguous and fluid environment.
  • Strong conceptualization ability, visual communication and attention to detail.
  • Embody and contribute to our culture and values.

The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary ranges.   • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business.  The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $266,700 to $586,700.  The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $320,000 to $666,700.  Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.  In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
  • Under our flexible vacation policy, you’ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You’ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
