Your responsibilities:
- Implement and monitor independence policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory requirements and EY's global standards;
- Conduct through independence assessments for engagements, including analyzing potential conflicts of business relationships, service and advising on appropriate actions;
- Collaborate with internal service lines, to provide guidance on independence matters and ensure compliance;
- Prepare and present reports on independence testing result to managers periodically.
Skill required:
- Manage expectations from different service lines within expected time line with professional working style;
- Have good communication skills (oral and written), strong interpersonal and presentation skills interacting with different service lines
- Demonstrate the problem-solving skills, logical thinking;
- Ability to learn/adapt quickly when required
- Be good at Microsoft office, English.
- Able to work independently and timely under instruction
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree (eg. Economics, Accounting, Auditing)
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a compliance, risk management, or audit role, preferably within a professional services environment.
- Knowledge of independence regulations and ethical standards applicable to audit, and consulting services.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex situations and provide clear recommendations.
