We are strengthening our international law practice with an experienced M&A professional and looking for a new colleague to join our Finnish law team – take a look and apply by 30 September 2024.

We are looking for an experienced M&A professional to join our law team. Notably with regard to M&A, we have arisen among the top tier advisors with our integrated model, and we can offer great career prospects for rising stars in our team of around 50 lawyers in Finland (excluding tax lawyers). In 2023, we were ranked by MergerMarket second in the number of deals for legal advisory in Finnish transactions. Our comprehensive M&A legal practice serves corporate, private equity and other clients on a daily basis in all sizes of transactions.

 

Your key responsibilities

 

As a Senior M&A Legal Counsel, you will lead client M&A projects, providing expert legal consultation to ensure strategic deal structuring and risk mitigation. Your role is to:

  • manage transaction lifecycles and negotiate key agreements
  • maintain and develop client relationships
  • train and guide more junior colleagues.

 

Skills and attributes for success

 

To qualify for the role, you must have
 

  • At least 5 years of experience in legal specialist role in a law firm, inhouse position or similar
  • Specialist level skills on M&A Law
  • Fluent in Finnish and English

 

You can be based in our Helsinki, Vaasa or Oulu office based on your preferences.
